We're going to the battlegrounds of New Mexico and Mississippi from November 1-7th to show what the work our partners are doing to fuse community organizing and voter engagement and mobilize people of color, poor people, and young people looks like.

New Mexico’s SWOP is already getting to work on it’s post-election day organizing. Two excited new interns, Tracy Chacon and Cheyenne Saiz, get to work on the Campaign for a Better New Mexico. “In the next year,” say Chacon and Saiz, “we will be working on the Take Control Campaign where we left off this past summer…”
As SWOP Director Robby Rodriguez says, “Democracy doesn’t end on Election Day.”
